I've recently just been switched to the smaller 4mm needles after being on the 8mm since I was diagnosed. I suffer from lipohypertrophy in mainly all my injection sites and it can be quite painful to inject in certain areas. After switching needles, I've found it to be even more painful and I've got bruises everywhere. Does anyone suffer from this? Does anyone have any advice on how to make it better? I'm running out of spots to inject as they're all becoming painful and I dread my next injection.

I was once given a tip to press down where you have just done your injection for at least 10 seconds and it prevents bruises. It works for me so may well work for you.

I'm having the same problem with bruises. Can't inject stomach as causes swelling so using thighs and bum but leaving bruising too. I was told to try antihistamine cream after injection not tried it myself yet let me know
