Hello again ..
I monitor my BS very well now, carbs-insulin corrections etc

When i awake my BS are 6.7 (never above 9 and not below 5)

I get dressed, go down stair make a cup of tea (sweetner, semi skimmed milk)
open emails and after my cup of tea I test BS and BOOM they are 12 & above (today 12.7)

I haven't eating and no exercise (yet LOL)

This is happening every day for the past 3 weeks
I search and se "BS are high in the morning why?" but mine are NOT high they go high AFTER i get up and go downstairs.
I have no stress when i open my emails...just saying

Any ideas??

Search Dawn Phenomenon, it may be that but have you also made sure your basal dose(s) are correct?
xx

I've read in some places that sweetener may fool the body and generate a release of glucose for some people.

When do you take your basal and what type is it?
