BS readings

That might explain things Ally. How long was the gap between your morning test and eating breakfast, and what did you do in that time?

Ally I still think you had a rogue test. If you were 11. Then impossible to be 7 before breakfast ( unless maybe you ran a few miles first). To go from getting up at 11 to go down to 7 before eating is 4 mmols??? I just think you may have had a double false on your strips. Its happened to me I know..its very disheartening

This was my breakfast today

5.5 before
6.7 at 1 hour
6.9 at 2 hours
6.1 at 3 hours
5.1 before lunch

So it is clear I run in the 6's all morning, despite being mid to low 5's on getting up. I don't normally do all those tests. It was just because I increased the amount of yogurt as part of my weight maintenance thing. No significant difference in levels.:)

That's very similar to what I was getting too. I'm wavering because I'm trying new foods
V inteterested in how Ally gets hers down in the morning to that degee. If I wake up over 10 that's me at 10 for most of the morning:(

haven't you turned your BG around :)
your daytime and post meal is great, it's a wait and see for the fasting, but it has come down a lot too

thank you jack, i,ve been working hard with the help from membbers here giving me advice

i was naughty this afternoon and had 6 biscuits so in a moment i will do my pre tea test and no doubt it will be high:(

i went for a cuppa at my next door neighbour and she got the shortbread out

6 shortbread biscuits??? That is some going! Ally, you must tell your neighbour that you are diabetic and cannot eat anything with sugar in. It isn't being rude, it is being sensible. If you don't want to tell her you are diabetic, then say something along the lines of being intolerant to sugar, or trying to lose weight. If she is a good friend, she will understand.
