No. Do you know I just didn't fancy them. After all these years. My tastes have changed. I decided I had so many vegetables in fridge so I made another Xmas dinner and used my carbs up on a mountain of sausagemeat and pigs in blankets with some gravy. Also I decided that my Hba1c is due in about 3weeks so I want to try and keep numbers down for that then I can have a sensible talk about reducing the Metformin.
 
7.2 this morning only done fasting levels from Christmas eve but back to normal today. So will be doing fasting levels and 2 random tests. I seem to be between 6 - 8 at the moment on no diabetes meds and steroids are down to 15mg form today.

Noticing a bit of creep in my post evening meal readings since stopping the Metformin a few days ago so going to start with it again tomorrow though just two instead of three initially.

6.6 for me but that was an hour after waking and B4 breakfast I never test on waking so I have to wonder if i should to see if the numbers would be lower. I get the feeling they would be.

I think we seem to have a couple of things in common .... the need to watch our portion size ... and the size of our clothes!
Hope you keep on seeing success and feeling better.

Bit higher pre dinner as bowl of lentil and veg soup for late lunch.

No pre test Sporadic testing now while grazing on a cold buffet mixture for several hours.
5.3 1hr Ham with cheese filling x2, Sm Sausage roll, pate' & water biscuit x 4, quiche filling x 3, salad leaves
5.4 2hr Sm pastry with cream and fruit. Pigs 'n' blanket x1 Olives x 10, Celery with Guatemala dip x 4
6.1 5hr 4 glasses Prosseco, 1 can larger several chunks cheese.

6.7 1hr Dinner was salad, quiche no pastry, 1 slice toast with Pate', slice ham.

Appear to be doing well, very pleased so far, and not put on any weight this xmas still plateauing at 200lbs. Must start to move it once more after xmas

Bit posh Ponteland.;-) . And York is lovely.
Yeah, she is a bit posh, but she suffered a stroke 12 months ago, just recovering now walking, but no arm movement, then 1 month ago fell, broke the ball off her hip joint, had that replaced same day (NHS very good) but she has lost all her confidence, now,having a to battle to regain it.
