BS readings

That is far too few calories and won't keep a sparrow alive. Your body will think it is starving and your liver will take over and dump a lot of glucose in your system. You must eat the right calories for your personal requirements. I suspect this may be the reason for your increased levels. Low carb diets must be followed properly or they don't work.
I agree BT i will increase my calories, I gave them all up and have been super strict on myself for last one week.
I am thinking I could easily do a NCD with y eating habits now, I am trying to actually prepare myself for it eventually. I Will give it a shot once and see what happens.

@Kezzer4321 you are right but i am not hungry at all, I think I am just used to this much food now and dont need more but I still tend to gain weight but I will have to do something to increase my calories and fat, dont know where will i end up then in that case in terms of my weight.
The problem is Brettsza, your body will go into starvation mode - this will stop you from loosing weight and could end up giving you more health issues than you have now. I believe the minimum number of calories for an adult is 1200 - that is if you wish to loose weight. Most people need to eat more than this and will still loose weight. How many calories you should be consuming would depend on your size, height, build and exercise level. If you wish to do something like the Newcastle Diet - this is usually done with the consent of your Doctor, who will monitor your health during the 12 weeks or so to make sure that no damage is being done to the other organs in your body.

You need to take your bodies needs seriously - the calorie level you are currently at is very dangerous and although you are saying you are used to this and dont feel hungry - that is exactly what people with eating disorders claim too!!

If you are struggling to loose weight - you should go see your Dr to ensure there is nothing else wrong that could be affecting your weight loss.

My gp is the most useless person i have ever met, I have an appointment with her on friday and if she does not see me properly again I will make an official compalint about her, you cant discuss more than one thing in one aapointment, you have to take another one, so if you have cough cold and fever you would need three different appointments. I told her I had some swelling in one of my finger and met is not suiting me, she said swelling is due to friction thats it, I said what about met not suiting me, she just said we discuss in another appointment, one thing in one appointment, I waited for a whole hour before I got to see her for 50 seconds to a minute max.

I am so confused with my readings and I think the stress is not helping either
Was 5.5 in morning, had breakfast which was almost a black coffee and cold meat and cheese so thought I did pretty well on carbs and mfp said 2g carbs
Got the kit to office today and had a coffee at 9 with some milk
6.8 at 1 hour
6.2 at 2 hours
now going for lunch but not doing a reading again it would be about 6 i would guess
Although I am using batch 44 as i forgot 61 tub at home but I dont think there is a massive difference between the two to be honest, if anything I have only got higher reading from 61 as compared to 44

To be honest, you need to take a step back, and hit the mental reset button. I think you're in a place where you're experiencing "error loop". You know, where you do something on your laptop, you're sure you've done it right, but get an error? Then you can replicate that error 20 times, because you have a brain fade and keep hitting the wrong key?

I'm not suggesting you're doing your tests badly, but the bottom line is all the angst and questioning isn't helping one jot, is it?

I suggest you mentally accept these new readings as being correct and look again for your trends - post rises, pre drops and trends in fasting (all based on your current averages). Those are the important things.

If you are certain you are doing nothing new, then unless your body is failing you (and there seems no reason to expect this), the underlying actual results should be the same.

Let's face it, these batches of strips are usually very consistent, but they do differ a little, sometimes. Have you honestly never had that?

I try to think of it as going to B&Q for a pot of paint, they mix on the big Dulux shaker to colour x,y and z together, and it looks fab! However. You're a bit short, so go back for more of exactly the same. Now, obviously, it should be exactly the same, but there will be variance, just as there is with any recipe we make, then how the recipe is stored or preserved.

I think the actions are with you, but I think if you can't get your head around this, there will come a point your frustrations will spill over, and who knows what form that might take. Potentially a carb-tasting period off the wagon.

You have some great advice brettsza :) Mike

6.0 fasting but I did take it after the shower so about 30 mins after I got up, Dont know if it could be lower but I will take this reading.
5.4 after my breakfast of egg sausage mushrooms and bacon so not bad at all.
I have started getting the kit with me to office to monitor more and also as @BT suggested humidity could be a problem so I am trying to keep it away from my home as much as possible.
May be I am still in 4's and 5's but just over stressing, I will take it one day at a time and see the progress and monitor more as I had stopped monitoring in the day time as I was always in 5's

PS: I am on batch44 still, just trying to finish the strips off

Your shower may have impacted. It can raise levels in some people.

6.4 fasting
Post breakfast 5.6
Pre lunch 5.4 on batch 44 ( every so often I use one of the wee b*ggers up!)
Post 5.4 again on 44
