It's relatively high carb. Most sources on the internet have the US carb value.

It is relatively low GI and like everything depends on how much you use.
I sometimes use it in galettes
(french buckwheat pancakes; basically flour, water and a bit of oil; though I can and often do buy ready made). Each pancake contains about 15g of carbs and if you fill it with your choice of things such as cheese/bacon/eggs/spinach/mushrooms/ tomatoes/asparagus/ smoked salmon etc , it makes a filling, moderate carb lunch with a green salad
