two faced people, rude, ignorant list can go on..
I am asking some advise and help with the issue of my burning feet. What I mean by this is that my toes and especially my heal is burning most of the time. It feels like a HOT LAVA just been poured in. Every time it happens I feel like rubbing it with some hard, solid metal or in most cases want to cut this off all together?I understand it is due to my Family history and me being type 1 on higher risk. My mom (diabetic 1, rest in peace) used to have same problem and now I share and feel her pain.My dad, his brother and his sister all had strong (D1). I am 38 and glad that I am not on any medication and this yearI have promised to work hard to cut down on lots and lots things in my life..This burning issue is a daily struggle for me. Especially in bed I keep my feet out of the cover winter or summer. Any help or advise regards to the food or any specific exercise or anything which can help with small effort? Thanks

Hi dadof3, I've posted in your other thread with some info about reducing your blood sugar levels, and that I think you might be type 2 rather than type 1, based on the info you posted there.

I think you should ask your doctor or nurse about your symptoms, and there may be things they can do to help. If your blood sugars have been high for a while it may have affected the nerves in your feet, but the good news is you may be able to do something about it. I don't know much about this subject so I will let others with more experience about feet talk about it.
