- working too hard!! Ungratefulness
Hi, It's been a while back I'm trying to get back on track. I have been going through a bit of denial and now because of this forum I've realized "Burnout". My doctor of 17 years has retired and after visiting a few different doctors and my endocronologist I think I am feeling more positive again. One doctor told me that she did not think I was T1 at all that I just needed to loose weight and discontinue the insulin and go onto byetta. I requested a consult with my endo and he was quite adamant that i should not, as the GAD test and Cpeptide tests done showed quite clearly - autoimmune diabetes. (He also apologized because he had neglected to uddate my diagnosis to T1.5 from T2!!) I have gained about 10 kgs since being put on insulin and yesterday signed up to Weight watchers.... So here goes!!! I am looking forward to feeling more positive and in control of my life again. Thank you for listening.
