Hi, :)

Just tried Bushbok Sweet Potatoes and there were absolutely delicious. They have a white coloured flesh and oddly enough not such a strong sweet taste.

Glycemic index should be similar to a normal sweet potato.

We got ours at tesco's (finest bushbok sweet potato £2.00p 800g).

Has anyone tried these and are they suitable for requirments.

Roy. :)

Gosh they sound gorgeous but I've no idea if they're suitable for diabetics. :)

Hi Catherine , :)

Cheers for that information, You learn something new every day. I was not fully aware of beta carotene and its qualities .

My meter test show no difference which is good.
