@Fenn Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember you saying on a thread a while back, that you were diet controlled for several years? So you aren't T1, possibly LADA I suppose, but unlikely? Or could it be that they usually do C Peptide tests only at diagnosis and your DN somehow doesn't realise you have been diabetic for years?

Never been only diet, they put me on tablets straight away, with dates it’s all a bit fuzzy (like my brain generally) but I achieved remission (I think) with a year and half of progressively LCHF, I never started insulin until a couple of years ago, I do not think I’m type 1, I fit type 2 well, my excess weight is belly only, I’m literally thin everywhere else, think pregnant runner lol which I read suggests type 2, my whole family, alive and dead type 2, except a great aunt.
I ate like an absolute pig before diagnosis and deserve to be type 2.
I also had a negative GAD test.
