Hi folks,

Anyone help me make this suitable for low carb please? It's a quick and easy meal for 2 and delicious which we used to have on a regular basis. Unfortunately now that I'm eating low carb I need to leave out the apple and sugar - any options for replacing or suggestions please?

Ham & cabbage fry.

30g butter
1 onion
4 cloves
large apple
2 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp demerara sugar
1 white cabbage
250g ham.

Thanks, John

Do you know what reading it gives in its unaltered state? You may only have to halve the apple and sugar.

Have you tried it without them? It might be just as nice. Or maybe as has been said, just reduce the sugar and substitute a small apple? Or you could double everything else, and freeze half for another day if you need to reduce the apple further. Just a few ideas, hope it helps.
