Cake Rota!

How about taking enough chocolate éclairs for everyone? One each then you can not go overboard. They are about 5 or 6 carbs per éclair, they can be found in the frozen food dept at most supermarkets. Morrisons have them for 81p for 6 at the moment.
Excuse me, I have to pop out for a moment ... the supermarket ... freezer ... can't resist .... aargh
I ate a *small* square of extremely sickly birthday cake at our social club meeting last week. It's a tradition -- we are, after all, supposed to be social. And sociable.
I've resigned as chairman because I have trouble with the invariable group visits to transport caffs and teashops. As a mere member I hope I can be more choosy. Ironically the LCHF diet allows me a good fry-up without the hash browns & fried bread -- the problem is "good." Sausages are often full of rusk and what it's all cooked in might be better in my car engine.

Sausages are easy to sort out. Try the Black farmers and his daughters sausages, they are gluten free and no carb. Sainsbury's also do a 0 carb sausage very yummy as well.

I support my local butcher, who promises the sausages he makes are 80% meat. Is that enough?
Not many transport caffs can afford that kind of quality I'm afraid.

Hi Emm, check out Hemsley and Hemsley' website. They are low carb, I bought the book, there is a brownie recipe in there but I haven't tried it yet, its made with black beans hmmmm.
