can anyone give me any ideas

my daughter is 20 months old she has type 1 she has been given antibotics for sore throat since tuesday she got unwell sunday and went to out of hours where there thought it was chicken pox again or it was viral infection, she not drinking very much been backwards and forwards from doctors she is eating well, has a temp on and off any ideas what it might be

Aaawww bless her, I hope she makes a speedy recovery very soon. Its awful when little ones are poorly.

As you have mentioned chickhen pox, has she or did she have spots? if not has the doctor looked for tonsillitis or strep throat, or it could just be a viral infection and antibiotics wont do any good. Hope she perks up soon. Best wishes RRB ps just thought, how are her BS levels, are they normal or a bit eratic now because of the illness?
