Hello, I am currently 20 days late for my period but have had numerous negative at home pregnancy tests. I have erratic blood sugars, usually in the high area. I have missed a period before because of stress / hormones but since I am sexually active I can’t help but to be worried. I can’t find any links between diabetes and pregnancy test results anywhere, so I’m asking here. Anyone know?

I'm not sure if high blood glucose levels have an influence on home pregnancy tests however high blood glucose can definitely have an impact on your menstrual cycle.
For example, before I was diagnosed I hadn't had a period for many months, following on from this after only a few days in hospital on IV sliding scale insulin to reduce my blood glucose I got my period which the nurses put down to finally achieving a blood glucose within range.
It may be that once you reduce your blood glucose levels your period makes an appearance. If you're overly concerned contact your family doctor and they can detect pregnancy through a simple blood test.
