can i go insulin free being type 1?

Most of my life 30 years i have been type 1 diabetic with often higher end balance of my diabetes im wondering if i can go insulin free as i only take relatively small amounts of humulin insuin to try to make my life better although this will be a tough act as im not always the strictest person

The only time you will be insulin free as a type 1 diabetic is when you become a corpse. Diabetes is for life once you are diagnosed.

Simple answer is NO, you will become ill in a very short space of time and you should not stop taking your insulin.
