Can my wife be prosecuted?

Can she be prosecuted for diabetic abuse and causing psychological harm? She's sat next to me eating Ferrera Rocher.

Only if mine can be by sitting there eating a whole mini xmas pud with lashings of ice cream TWICE recently AND she never hit more than 6.8 cos I tested her as punishment. I went and had a good long soak as ice cream is my weakness.

At the very least I reckon you should point out the calories in ferrero rocher and make your wife scrub the decks of your boat to work them off!

I always thought that sort of behaviour was only ever excusable at the Ambassadors party 8)

is it terribly bad form to sneak into this thread as a Type 1, waving my insulin pen and cackling, as I eat whatever I like?
we T1s need some consolations in life...

Not at all Snodger, I myself helped to polish off a couple of tins of Celebrations over the xmas period, I also put on 9lb's :( but I'm working on that just 4lb's to go at the last weighing.

Oddly enough I seem to be able to deal with chocks better - from a bg point of view - than I do carbs like white bread, not that I am advocating eating chockies every day of course

Its probably the fat in chocks helped keep my bg levels in check...

Can I borrow your Insulin to help polish off the tin of roses left in the corner from Christmas? :?:

My sister and older son come and eat crisps in front of my t1 son in the afternoon. Wrecks his pre-dinner level and I wish they wouldn't do as it is a little hard to not let him share. I could give him more insulin but then it would stack with his dinner and I'd be dealing with hypos at bed time. So having an insulin pen doesn't fix all problems.

Ha Ha. I think we are still waiting for your photo on the other post aren't we Grazer. Wait up, you are a sheep, aren't you? Khaleb is in the red shirt.

Your photo is ten year old so you need to find a more recent one.

I'm enjoying this thread, I've had an infection for the last few days and have been feeling a bit sick but the banter here has cheered me up....

Thanks :D

Well as I can't upload my pic, you'll all have to carry on imagining me, but to help you, I'm similar to 'Emma' from 'Hustle'.

course you can - I do believe 10 roses chocolates are about 80g of carbs, if you are on 1:1 ratio then dial up 8 units of humalog and you can scoff the lot 8)

EDIT: I just went looking for a picture of a big pile of roses chocolates to add to this post. I couldn't find one, but having looked at all the pictures of chocolate, I'm now very hungry...
