Can NovoRapid cause muscle/joint aches

So I've been on the MDI for over a month now and have been experiencing shoulder and joint aches since being on it, after reading up on it looks like a side effect of Lantus for some people and not others, see my thread here (https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/alternatives-for-lantus-for-an-active-lifestyle.133684/)

Now how I know that it is the Lantus to blame and not the NovoRapid? Has anyone experienced joint pains on NovoRapid?

You don't, but it's a much better bet that is the lantus. Almost all google searches about this problem and insulin mention lantus and no other insulin. Also, if you switch to another long-acting insulin and your joint pains disappear you know it's most likely to have been the lantus. If they stay you can try other things.
