But it doesn't raise them too!
It's the only meds, that my endocrinologist has told me to use if I have aches and pains. Most meds that are over the counter contains sugar, because it does give you a sugar boost to make you feel better!

Ok never heard of thatmaybe there is no sugar in the kind you take , and maybe it Blocks the liver a bit... jut like alcohol can do it by keeping the liver busy

Like the posters above, I have never heard that paracetamol lowers blood sugar levels.
However, what you have observed might be related to stress. Many of us have experienced that stress can raise blood sugar levels. Maybe you were stressed because of the pain and taking a pain reliever lessened the pain and consequently the stress. Not sure that this is what happened, but it might be a possibility.
