Can prediabetes cause bladder trouble

All in all... It's a good thing you went back, and didn't wait a month. There's certainly something going on. Glad you went!

Yeah, go get

Agreed, no reason to be waiting another month. Glad they are working on it, or we'd all be gathering our pitchforks and flame lit torches!

Be mindful that antibiotics can apparently destroy a good deal of your gut microbiome. I’m unaware of the biology myself but it’s recommended by some that courses of antibiotics are followed with consumption of a lot of fermented foods. Cheeses and the like. Apple cider vinegar maybe.

Yes, thank you all. I'd probably still be thinking it's nothing and plod along. Not sure of the antibiotic but the chemist have had to order it in....cheese is always welcome Jim.

Broad spectrum antibiotics (which is most likely what they're getting you) do kill gut bacteria, but it's easily solved with either gut bacteria capsules or a much more enjoyable plate of sauwerkraut. Jim's right, fermented foodstuffs (like full fat greek yoghurt as well) will help restore anything that gets damaged. Right now though, getting rid of whatever's ailing you is the priority. The rest can be fixed.

Hi Angie, hope it all turns out ok, at least the doctor is now trying to find the problem. Good luck

Just a quick update, urine today showed no blood or protein and I didn't take the antibiotics either. My wee sample was as clear as water haha... I've never seen wee without any colour at all. She has still sent it to the lab and took some swabs as still so tender in the bladder area. Within 20 mins of having a wee I need another and it hurts to sit or walk where my bladder is sore. I have an ultrasound Thursday as luckily I work for a private scanning clinic. I'm wondering if it may be interstitial cystitis?
