I have read that T2 diabetes on Metformin can not have a hypo is this true.
If I can have a hypo what does it feel like.

type 2's on metformin only tend not to have hypo's, but they can do sometimes. but then so can anyone, people without diabetes have sub 4 blood sugars. it usually said that metformin doesn't cause hypo's because it doesn't cause extra insulin production.

the only definate way to tell if you are hypo is to test!

for me symptoms are fast heartrate sweating, shaking hands, feeling irriatble and impatient. depending how low I am how severe these symptoms are

I'm a T2 using Metformin and caused myself a hypo walking up and down some steep alps last September for about 3 hours. That path was a killer narrow and with steps each about 40 cm high.
2 Glucose tabs fixed the shaking.
