Can type 1 dia take lacsatives

it won't raise your BG
how long has it been?
you may need to work from the other end too. with the tube of stuff that causes contractions or however it works from the chemist

Oh ok thank you.. Didn't know that x
This is all for my partner as he has type 1 an we have just gone round and round in circles x he hasn't been for over a week and he vomited a few hours after eating last night so we thought maybe it had something to do with it as this had nowhere to go :s as he has been fine since and has his appetite back :s xx

you are going to need more than that drink if it's been a week..I would go to the doctor or A&E if out of hours with vomiting, it's 100 to 1 shot but it may even be a twisted bowl, worse case

Eeek ok :s x thankfully only been the once on the vomiting but I will defiantly call or take to a&e if he starts again or things don't start moving as he is a stubborn one ..
I may try that lactulose or tubey thingy though can you get it from any chemist? X

it's a tube of stuff, I don't know what it's called and probably different in the UK, but ask the chemist for a tube or more of 'the good stuff' to stick up his bum

I take 3x senna tablets a night and 20 ml Lactulose morning and same evening this helps as as I was going once every 5-10 days I now go every 2 -3 days. The senna makes you go and the Lactulose softens the softens, it does give terrific wind but I don't really care.
