Hello, new pumper here!! I'm on my saline training for a few days, and I was just messing about it with and gave myself a few units of 'saline'. I swear it was really sore going in!!! Or is this my imagination?!?

I am wondering as I knew it was going in, that I expected it to hurt?!

Hia - I've been pumping for 9 months and initially I thought I could feel the insulin going in and that it was slightly uncomfortable. Whether or not that was in the mind or whether im just used it now, but all i can say is that I can't feel anything now when I bolus.
I'm sure it will all be a bit strange for a while (I was with me) but hopefully you'll get int the swing of it and find that your levels will be easier to control. It's a lot of hard work to get the basal rates right and I have had problems with continual changes needed (possibly hormonal related problems) but I would'nt go back to injections through choice. Best of luck when you go on inuslin and don't hesitate to ask anything at all - I find this forum so useful
