Yes - apparently they deliberately avoided input from the food industry, but it is clear that there were veg*ns involved in writing it.
I did not watch the video as it is clearly vegan ******** just from the description.

Why do so many scholarly articles associate red meat, and processed meats, with CVD? Is there some sort of conspiracy? As a meat eater I would like to know the truth, backed up with empirical evidence. Only asking.

There is no evidence that shows cause. Just association, risk, correlation etc. Which have been used and twisted by some with an agenda to create fear. Take those scholarly article conclusions for what they are, incapable of showing cause.

OK all of you Meatatarians, have a slice of Australian corned beef to help sustain you far better than lentil cutlets.

Lentil cutlets :nailbiting:.... good grief, that sounds as good as fingernails being dragged along a chalk board.

Oh, had the corned beef a few nights ago. :)

I suspect it may be the anti Sat Fat lot and they assume all red meat is full of fat which it is and gives it the good flavour. I don't know of any real evidence to avoid meat.

There is a triumverate consisting of animal rights people (e.g. PETA), environmentalists (who think meat production is catastrophic for the invironment e.g. Greenpeace), and people who believe in veganism for health reasons (e.g. Dr Michael Gregor of NutrionFacts. org).

Each group uses cherry picked studies from all three points of view to advance their agenda. The mainstream media generally agrees with their philosophy and helps push their agenda. When the masses hear the same lies over and over again, they start to believe them.
