I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in late 2022, had Radiotherapy in May 2023. ... Thank goodness they caught it early. Now I'm expecting Diabetes in the post. I must admit, I'm not helping myself with my current diet, but I'm slowly changing. Just thought I would put that out there. Am joining the Gym next month if my Doctor says it's ok?

Hi Lee, I am so sorry about your cancer & now diabetes. There does seem to be a link between the two - one raising the chance of the other & of course age raises the chance of both. Diet -carb control & exercise will certainly improve your diabetes & you will feel much better so you are doing the right thing even if you are not diagnosed diabetic . There is plenty of help out there & your gym should help as well arranging a suitable program. Very good luck.
