This is actually a very valid point. The anxiety that a high post prandial reading can cause some much anxiety.
I'm beginning to think that maybe sticking to a low carb diet will have significant effect on BS anyway and maybe for some total control by measuring constantly could be detrimental in the long term.
As an example, I had a high ish one the other night, after a low carb meal and got so ****** off I ate a bar of chocolate, which set of self loathing and a day or so of depression because I know I shouldn't have and never would have had it not been for that reading.
It can become obsessive and not always in a positive way.
