Hi all
I found a carb/fat/calorie counting book in "Book World" for 99p!! It lists all main 'normal' foods and I have found it really useful.

I think Book World also trades as Banana Bookshop, so you may have some luck there too...

I use The Calorie Carb and Fat Bible, more expensive but very extensive.
Gives calories, protein, carbs and fat per 100gm/100ml and calories per portion for
just about every food, and those with origins (Tesco, Sainsburys etc etc) and also fast foods by outlet.

The Collins Gem series carb counter or calorie counter is good, not expensive and can be carried in a pocket when shopping.

My son was given a MAP (motivation advise pro active support) book by his diabetic dietician. It contains cal/pro/carb/fat/fibre in every day foods/fast foods and ready meals. Its also handbag size and is pretty good, but i still prefer the digital weighing scales that they gave us for home use, especially for home baking.
