Carb Counting

You don't go with BMI I am a bag of bones with No variations.
If you concentrate on eating high carb foods you might end up as a bag of bones with a big waist. Now that you have the excellent Carbs and Cals book you can increase your calorie intake while staying low carb.

Have you not been on a course like Xpert ?

I went on Friday and on principle have a good understanding of how things are meant to work. I did ask what the differences are in terms of insulin treatment, but did not get satisfactory answer. I even asked whether the resistance to insulin affects the injected insulin. They said yes. But still didn't explain better. My way of thinking is that if you are resistant, then injected insulin may be also unaffected.
I'm doing a lot of studying and research myself, because on courses they teach you only the things you need to know, or that's what they think. I want to know better, so I can be independent.

I struggled to put weight on after diagnosis. They blood tested me for all kinds of nasties but I got a fitbit which showed I wasn't really eating enough for how active I was.

I still eat carbs but I use Google to get approx how many are in what I eat. I also increases the amount of fat in my diet (nuts, cheese both good).
