Type 1 Carb counting

Can anyone offer me the best advice for carb counting? I’m on 4 injections a day. Really struggling with how much to take with my
Meals finding my doses are not covering what I’m eating very well and I’m running high more often then usual

Hi. In general it's a question of building experience to get the ratio right. First, make sure you are estimating the carbs as well as you can and also adding a little built for proteins. Then if your BS runs too high you will need to tweak the ratio to increase the insulin. Make sure you only tweak the ratio gradually and test regularly.
