Hi all,
I am quite new to pumping (exciting times). I attended clinic and spoke to one of the dietitians, who gave me a list of vegetables that I now need to count into my carb intake.
These range from sweet potato (which I already count) to tomatoes and brocolli!! I’ve been carb counting for decades and never had to think about these before!!
The dietician said that it can be trial and error as to whether they impact blood glucose at all.
Does anyone have any advice for this new approach? I just can’t get my head around bolusing for a bit of courgette!!
