Hi,
I follow a very low carb diet and tend to keep breakfast carb free by eating eggs. Last week I found out I'm pregnant and am struggling with eggs this week due to nausea....does anyone have any advice on carb free/very low carb breakfasts which may be more palatable at this time?
Thanks!
Jess

Protein shake drunk slowly, especially if you cant face food.
Congrats too.

Congratulations! How about an almond flour pancake? It has an egg in it but "disguised". LOL.

I make them with 1.5oz ground almonds, 1/2 oz flax meal, 1 egg and 1/4 pint milk (or almond milk in my case). Cook in a pan with coconut oil and add a splash of sugar-free Da Vinci syrup in a flavor of your choice. Delicious.

Regards,

Carol

Congrats Jess. I'm usually having fat coffee coffee well mixed butter and coconut oil you can also use tea or cocoa powder instead of coffee. To get some protein you can add an egg or two to the boiling water (with either coffee, tea or cocoa powder), very common around very low carber in Scandinavia.

How about an avocado, or maybe half of one, with some slices of cheese and some nuts.

Mushrooms, with or without diced tofu, fried in butter. We find smoked tofu the tastiest.

Pastrami, slices of tomato and, perhaps a few olives.

Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS!

Sally
