I’m sure this has been asked before but are these bars ok for type 2’s, it says low carb, low sugar, I’m a bit confused by the label!
I love them and they don’t spike my blood sugars! The carb count total seems high but that total includes Polyols, they are sweeteners or sugar alcohols, (which are neither sugar or alcohol!) and most people don’t absorb them. The net carbs or impact carbs are calculated by subtracting the total Polyols from the total carbs, so they are around 2 - 5g each bar depending on flavour.Hi

Edit to add, if you do try one test before and after to see if they affect your blood sugars.
Which flavour Kind bars do you have? The Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt ones that my wife has say 16g carbs per bar and no mention of polyols as far as I can see.I have kind bars for that exact reason. They are mainly nuts and seem to have nil bg impact for me.
Lidl’s and Aldi’s have their own versions too.
About half the price of those Carb Killas, and I much less processed and ‘artificial’, although still somewhat processed, of course.
