my son is 9 and he was diagnosed with type 1 in may. he needs 20 to 30 carbs for snacks but lately he has taken crisps and an apple to school but he hasent been eating his apple and his bloods have been dropping to 4mmol at lunch time im trying to find good ideas for snack time at school that he can just eat quickly and go and play. does anyone also know what is the ideal ratio between carbs and of which are sugars e.g carbs 30 of which are sugars 10 is one third ok !!
