I agree with the above. I spilt my bolus dose.. 30% about 20 mins before and 70% one hour after. I had one of my worst hypos after a pasta dish in a restaurant! Couldn’t get my head round it!
Help .My daughter is very confused in carbs counting. Her sugar level was 12 before eating, Weighted 233 grams of cooked spaghetti carbonara. Gave herself 8 units of insulin, hour later she went into a hypo at 3.7 don't understand why. she can't understand why. Her diabetes nurse never answer any questions we have . please help. 4 months in and with no better then the first day of being diagnose. Thank you
Also, just because you have 60g of pasta doesn’t mean it is 60g of carbs. The carb content is often lower than the actual product weight. Good luck with the counting!
