I made crackers using golden linseed. The packet I bought in Tesco states that it contains 1.6 grams of carbs per 100 g. I went to get the same product in Asda on the way home and found out that the same packet shows around 20 g of carbs (don't remember the exact number). Does anyone know where the truth lie? I am worried that my crackers are not as low carb as I thought. Are they good for low carb diet?

Best out of 3? Sainsburys also says 1.6g

Looks like Asda has not subtracted the fibre. I would go with the lower amount.

Hi Denisa, I regularly buy my linseed from Asda but because they are not produced in UK they have not deducted the fibre, which we in UK do. So I haven't got a packet at hand but it will state something like Carbohydrates per 100g 29.9g, Fibre 28.3g. All you have to do is subtract fibre from total carbohydrates giving you a realistic 1.6g carbs per 100g
