Sorry again if this has been asked millions of times.

I notice on labels that carbs are put on the label like this total carbs- of which sugar. Which is the gram figure I should be concentrating on lowering, all the carbs or just sugar carbs.

Thanks.

Thank you for the reply. It makes it harder now. :O)

perfect Ambersilva thankyou.

SNEAKY OLD STARCH THERE!!!!!!!

I am learning how sneaky food manufacturers are now I am T2. DOH.

Some T2s have success with varying amounts of low carb foods in their diets. Lower your carbs gradually. Don't try to do it all at once. Certainly make sure you avoid foods with added sugar then gradually progress to lower carbs.

I am not a great white carb lover, I prefer brown or wholemeal, but I luv chocolate and creamy desserts, or scones and jam etc etc. So being low carb isn't really that difficult, what I am finding out is how carbs in the bread and the porridge really do make my bg go up and for a long time too so if I can eliminate them its good for me.

Thanks for taking the time to reply x

Oh, for scones with jam and devon cream! I am sure some resourceful low carbers have created recipes for low carb scones. The sticky jam would be a bit difficult though.

Lindt have produced 99% cocoa and 90% cocoa chocolate bars. I find them great for dipping into a black coffee so that they melt...

Paul-me too now ;O)

Ambersilva I had my last 2 weeks ago :O((((
