I have a meal roughly every 5 hours with fruit snacks between every 2 and a half hours to keep levels normal and this is whats happening. Only thing is im starting to feel hungry. Has anyone got any idea of what snacks i could have. Ihave crisps every now and then but now ive started watching the carbs noticed that they are quite high if you eat alot and because im losing weight aswell the saturated fat isnt so great. How many carbs should i be looking at for my main meal?
Patch said:You need to do a lot of research. You'll find out that eating fat doesn't increase your cholesterol. You'll find that cutting carbs REDUCES your cholesterol, and you'll find that Type 2 doesn't necessarily have to lead to insulin treatment if you can gain control early on.
Check the new book review section on this site - I'd recommend the book/website Blood Sugar 101.
Good luck!
