I believe every diabetics with type1 should know carb counting. To be honest I cant imagine not doing that. i started carb counting straight after diagnosis and it made my life way easier. It difficult to prevent hypos or high levels if you are on fixed dose as your insulin intake doesnt match amount of carbs eaten

The insulin is self adjusting so I can put it up or dwn as needed but my diabetic nurses have never disgust it with me and bs has been between 15and 20 since last nov and starting 2 get realy annoyed with ur [PERSEVERING FACE]

15 or 20 is definately too high. I would advise you to start researching how to do carb counting and adjust insulin by yourself. Its not difficult, just a bit time consuming at the beggining. Your nurse probably doesnt know much about carb counting. Have you talked to your diabetic consultant in your clinic/hospital?
If you know how to use insulin your levels will get much better. Im most of the time 5-8. over 10 only if i eat out and not sure how much insulin to take
