Hi. Does anyone have problems with this meter going high? I am on holiday and didn't bring my control solution with me but it seems all over the place compared to my libre.

On Holiday ? Are you some place hot right now?

Don't know anything about your test strips but my Glucomen strips have a max storage temp of 30°C.

In Florida. :). But strips in air conditioned house so don't think they will have been exposed to over 30C. Think I will have to go to Walmart and pick up some new strips. Strangely yesterday both libre and meter were in agreement when I was heading low. Now caresens meter showing over 11 and libre 7.5. have taken insulin and no breakfast yet so would expect levels to be lower than 11. Next holiday will bring 3rd meter with me!

Definitely washed your hands ?
Tried a second test to make sure it wasn't just weird reading ? If I get a reading that I think is way off the mark then I retest.

Washed hands, tried all my fingers. Libre steady between 7.2 and 7.5. caresens now showing 10.5. so caresens feels high but libre feels too steady! Going to have breakfast and see what happens and then go and get new strips. Hoping I can get the ones to fit libre as if it is the sensor then that will give Abbott the info to hopefully refund the sensor. If it's the meter then lesson learnt re strips and their sensitivity to heat.

Got strips and new meter in case they didn't work in libre. 8.2 on libre, 8.9 on new strips so close as 15 mins apart. Caresens 9.9. so now I know - libre was right
