Hi Guys and Girls, would like to know if anyone here has carrot juice (home juiced) i love it, only just started doing it though, is it ok for my type 2, been diagnosed few years now, at moment it is fine, but i do want the Juice, i know people are going to say about juicing other veg but i am also on wolfrin for my blood.

Like @carty carrot juice sends my bg too high.
Although it is good in green smoothies with other veg and fibre.
I am vary wary of ANY juices, even veg ones - because my meter tells me to be.
On the other hand, I find veg and fruit smoothies are usually fine, so long as the fruit is berries.
The reason the smoothies work is, I think, because you get all the veg fibre, which prevents a quick bg spike.

Thanks Guys Love the Carrot Juice but i have stopped since posting this and taken heed to your replies, I am getting pretty depressed though to be honest because i am also on warfrin for my blood and have also to watch out for Vitimin K foods, i really seem to have nothing left, cant even look forward to meals anymore lol.
