I'm scheduled for assessment and possible surgery in 3 weeks. Surgery has been deferred once due to poor HBA1C and poor blood sugar stability (the risk is that unstable blood sugar causes the eyes to change shape before and/or after surgery).
Should I hold out to improve my HBA1C further, and get cataract remission without surgery? What are the odds? The degeneration was initially very slow but accelerated in the last few years and even the last few months.
