Hi , I was wondering , has anybody had issues with there Dr, regarding funding for the libre Freestyle sensors, my hospital has written to the CCG regarding how much I have benefitted from the libre , and how much they think I need it , I have been funding this my self for 9 months, I got a letter back from the CCG greater Manchester saying they are having a meeting to decide if I’m eligible or not . Even though my health professionals all say that I should have this . I’m on an insulin pump and constantly checking my bloods . I was wondering if anybody else has had the same type of notifications from the CCG and are going to let you know if your eligible or not . I’m still waiting to hear and it’s been nearly 3 months . I just need to know if I can have this regards Mark
 
I had my annual review at my local hospital and was told they had initially decided not to fund any Libre.
This was in the process of being reviewed.

But the key point was, just because NICE has approved it, the CCGs chose where they spend their money.
