Is it possible to get celeriac crispy like a roast potato? If so, how? Thanks

I use it as a topping for cottage/shepherd's pie. par boil, roughly madt, top the pie and really hot oven unt6 browning and crispy spiked. Never tried roasties.

I never managed it .. they always ended up soggy with a not especially nice taste so gave up trying!

The secret is, I believe, to use a wire tray in the oven so the air gets to both sides evenly. No oil obviously.

Never thought of using a wire tray. Why no oil? I’ll give it a go. Thanks.
