Hi! I am diabetic T1, Doctor told me I have probably a celiac diseas, I am awaiting for a byopsi! it's a real nightmare! Please advice.

Thanks and regards,

Why is it a nightmare? All you need to do is check the contents of any food and eliminate wheat and gluten eaten and carry on as normal. It's not a problem.

Welcome @adam_Type_1
That does sound a bit of a shock, but the good news is that the same diet works for both: LCHF (low carb high fat) excludes wheat and other gluten-rich grains, so you control your blood sugar and avoid gluten with one diet.

However, your doctor will probably disagree with this, since the conventional medical line is that diabetics need carbohydrates. There's lots of information on this site to counteract that argument, or read Dr Bernstein's diabetes book.

Hi, It can be a bit daunting at first. I had my second biopsy and I was sedated, knocked out, but you can have a numbing throat spray and when the result came back as Coeliac it was a huge relief, because of the months of horrendous symptoms and I felt so much better afterwards. Good luck.
Best wishes RRB

Agree it's quite daunting at first, also depends on what your current diet is like. If you're used to having toast, sandwiches, cakes and biscuits then it can be quite overwhelming. However there are some excellent products out there for Coeliacs now, you can also get gluten free products on prescription once your diagnosis has been confirmed by your GP. Also note that alot of gluten free food companies send you a welcome pack so you can try their products too, also restaurants are now much better at alerting you to gluten free alternatives. I suspected for a while I was a Coeliac but wasn't confirmed, however I stay away from gluten and wheat now and use gluten free flour for baking and making pancakes and cook most of our food from fresh so I know the source, I don't get bloated now and tummy has settled down.

You will be amazed at how quickly you can adapt ;)
