It depends which Animas pump you'll be getting. The Animas 2020 which we have is not CGM enabled but the Animas Vibe is. At the time of getting my daughter's pump the Vibe was only available in the US, I see on their website it is now in the UK. As to whether it will be NHS funded depends on why your son needs it. It is very difficult to get funding and usually only very extreme circumstances will afford you NHS funding for it. It is usually easier to get a temporary CGM if continuous monitoring is needed to collect data, usually this is for two or three days but will probably not be the CGM which works with the Animas pump and delivers readings to the pump, it's usually a stand-alone device which only provides access to data after the CGM has been removed and downloaded onto a computer.
