WHY on Earth wouldn’t I? It gives my brain a break!! Which is NEEDED!!Why on earth would you?
No issues. Just need a break as I’m suffering from MAJOR Diabetes overload/burnout.Are you having issues with yours??
Thank you very much @Tony337!I wish you well
Because we are all differentwhy would you take a break from your CGM I find mine so helpful and informative.
Yes I am using a Dexcom ONE. I am not self funding the Dexcom! I get mine for FREE on the NHS!!You are using a Dexcom One.
Yesterday Dexcom released the Dexcom One+ in the UK. See https://www.dexcom.com/en-gb/dexcom-one-plus-cgm-system
That is cheaper than the Dexcom One - £35 per sensor or £79 for 3. I ordered one yesterday.
The Dexcom One+ is based on the G7 sensor and is a lot smaller than the Dexcom One which is based on the G6 sensor.
MAJOR Diabetes overload/burnout. I’m constantly looking at my phone checking my BG!!But I get the impression that you are suffering from a bit of diabetes overload and/or burnout @Neckarski_94 ? Are you checking your bg every 5 minutes? That may not be helping your mental health?
I don’t tend to worry as much when I’m not wearing a CGM and I don’t mind doing the fingerpricks I just do those before my insulin and meals.I suppose you don't have to use a cgm, but you'd need to do a lot more fingerprick tests than you do now and you might well decide that you'd prefer to go back to the cgm.
I was doing this before I got my CGM anyway so a little break will be good to give my brain a rest and for my mental health!so you will need to finger prick at least before every meal and before going to bed
