Hi, I am trying to decide what pump we should go for my son. He is 10.

Does anyone know what the cgm feature is like on the veo? As its only the Veo that has a cgm. How accurate is it? 2 sites or 1? Pros and cons.

Its a choice between the veo and accu chek. My head hurts from reading. Any advice most welcome.

Thank you all in advance.

Cant help with veo cgm.. But if considering an accuchek pump.. Then you would have to have a stand alone cgm.

To be honest I have an accuchek pump and really like it, and would not change it unless another pump had a fully operational remote control.

I had a standalone Freestyle Navigator by Abbott.
I would NOT recommend it at all. Mine last weekend actually had the pixels within the screen explode on screen. The cgm us absolutely useless now. Abbott without actually seeing the item have totally blamed me for the damage to the screen. This I totally deny.
They want over £550 for the receiver to be replaced..
I did not damage it, I have my own opinions on how it got damaged... Abbott had it for a week.. The week before.... But I cannot prove I did not damage it. I had nothing but trouble with Abbotts Freestyle Navigator cgm. I dread to think of a child wearing one and accidentally banging/bending over (as Abbott accused me of doing).. And having a useless cgm..
