Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all well. I was wondering for people using dexcom or libre CGm, when do you see your sugar level start to rise? I stay within the allotted amount for the rise but I seem to start having my sugar move upward while I am still eating instead of 15 minutes post eating. Is this normal for everyone? It is a slow and steady rise from about 5-10 minutes into my meal.

Thank you!

I was reading that sugar levels aren't supposed to start rising until 15 minutes after a meal. I am very very new to my diagnosis and everything is so new and a bit scary.

It depends on what you are eating, are they slow action carbs or fast acting carbs? Also and I'm not trying to be funny, how quickly you eat. Mine usually start around 10 -20 minutes and pick after about 90-120 minutes. But everyone is different. You will get use to it. good luck.
