Lots of opinions and lots of conflicting info. I sat through the whole thing and there's hours I will never get back. Being told that my brain needs glucose to work (with the inference that carbs are essential) almost had me switch off and this coming from a lass straight out of a 1980s airplane movie.
At the end my thoughts were, what would someone take from the programme? And the answer was, not much because all these experts are giving opinions and soundbites and there were a couple of myths thrown in too.
Excercise, joggers nipple (esp the bloke who lost half a nipple which then grew back deformed) and jock itch was enough to put anyone off apart from the stuff about bacteria and virus' endemic in gyms.
CICO was about the only subject they seemed to agree on in that it is pretty useless, the same went for BMI.
ND type diets were mentioned as were the so called 'superfoods' myth being promulgated by the food industry along with sports drinks.
All in all? Move along folks, nothing to see here.
