Hi all

Just been told I must change to a IF diet, so looking for advice of what to stock up my food cupboard with.

Any suggestions, plz?

Ken

Do you mean Intermittent Fasting diet?

If so, you are missing meals rather than changing them, and you can eat any normal Way of Eating that you like, just reducing the frequency of meals.

Personally, I just skip meals for as long as I fast, with the occasional fat bomb or coffee with cream to keep me going, plus of course a lot of herb tea, water and broth. Then when I start eating again I just pick up where I left off, with a normal sized meal.

If you intend fasting for more than about 48 hours, it is kinder to your body to re-feed gently, rather than starting off with a big meal.

Hope that helps.

Have you tried looking through the Low Carb sub-forum (here where you posted) or at some of the guides available on the website? There are many discussions on the topic that you may find helpful and we discuss this on a daily basis.

With that said, we're all different and we each have our own restrictions, limitations, and taste buds. If you have specific questions or have specific needs, it would be helpful to share them with us, and I'm sure you'll receive plenty of answers.

Help us help you :)
