Changing from injection to pump

Pump
I have been on a pump for 5 years now. Currently on a "pump holiday". I'm going back onto my pump tomorrow morning but not sure what to do about my long lasting insulin tonight. I normally split the dose - half on an evening and half on a morning. Any tips or advice would be great.

When I first went on the pump I was on split basal, I was told to take my evening dose and omit the morning dose. If you run too high or low then you could just use a temporary basal until it resolves. Levemir gets out the system pretty quickly, lantus not so much!

Agree with @xAoifex, just use a TBR for a few hours until your confident that your levemir dose is exhausted.

Thanks for the advice. I'm on Lantus! I will take it this evening and keep a close eye on it tomorrow.
